family time

these days i'm cherishing family time and holding on to these fleeting moments together. in the next few weeks my parents and sister (along with her kids) will be moving to a different state or city. time with them will be very limited. it will be a total change and i'm certain i will cry when we say goodbye. i'm going to miss my nephew and niece so much! every weekend i am visiting and making memories with them while i have the chance.

i took these pictures of my nephew and niece a few days go. it makes me smile looking at these pictures. their relationship is starting to blossom and i love watching them bond.

high hopes and goals for 2014

the holidays have come and gone and i'm in a bit of a gloomy mood because it went by all too fast. seriously, i wasn't ready for 2014 to come this quickly. i was moping around the house on the 1st. today, i was still feeling sad while at work. i'm just hesitant going into another new year. fortunately, this gloomy mood is starting to leave me because i realized that the new year is here now whether i like it or not. i have to remain positive and try to make the most of the next 350 days. 

before the new year started, i tried to prep myself to get excited by thinking of goals to work towards. i have a lot of high hopes to make it the best year yet. just to name a few:

- i hope to grow my creative skills in design and calligraphy

- i hope to build stronger relationships with my family and friends. 

- i hope to manage my finances better this year. pay off some debt and save!

- i hope to take better care of my body and health 

if you have goals and hopes for 2014, i'd like to wish you good luck on achieving it. i know setting goals and taking action requires a lot of time and dedication. i know i struggle with it regularly. so i really do hope you don't lose any momentum on your goals. i hope you get whatever you're seeking for in 2014!

hi everyone! so i'm trying this blogging thing once again. wish me luck because i'm going to need it. i have a bad habit of starting a new blog than forgetting about it after a few weeks. however, i really hope this time around, it will be different ;)

i mainly want to use this blog to share all the things i am aiming to create in my life. i want to create (big and small) memories with my family and friends. i want to create adventures by exploring new places near and far from me. i want to create designs through calligraphy and photoshop because i have a strong desire to explore my creative side. i mainly want to create a positive and fulfilling life and hope to document it in my new blog! thanks for joining along friends. let's do this thing! :)
